The island is formed like a perfect circle, and its soft white sandy beach and the clear blue lagoon that surrounds it follow the lines of the same circle, making the island simply perfect to look at. It takes 25 minutes from the Male' International Airport by speedboat to reach Ihuru. There are a total of 45 rooms on the island and all are identical. None of them are air-conditioned, but all are spacious and well ventilated allowing the sea breeze to cool the room at all times.

Dining on the island is always a pleasure, the standard of food being infallibly first class. Ihuru is a quiet island, a place where you can spend time appreciating the marvellous beauty that makes Maldives so special a place. The island's housereef is rich in all kinds of marine life and the best thing is that it's only a few metres from the beach. Simply snorkelling the day away would provide you with unceasing wonder and awe. Diving from the island is another pleasure not to be forsaken.
